Use of the site
Volunteers who register with the Hub may apply for roles with any of the four organisations of the Humanitarian Hub – Asylum Seeker Centre (ASC), House of Welcome (HOW), Jesuit Refugee Service (JRS), and the Refugee Advice and Casework Service (RACS). Each of the four organisations is a registered charity and will authorise a NSW Working with Children (WWC) check prior to a volunteer commencing work, if required.
Volunteers of the Hub are obliged to comply with the Privacy Policies, Terms and Conditions of the organisation they are volunteering with.
The information collected by the Humanitarian Hub will be accessible by the Hub Coordinator and the Volunteer Coordinators of the organisations of the Hub, but only for the purposes of volunteering. Personal information and contact details will not be used by any of the organisations of the Hub for any purpose other than volunteering.
By registering with the Hub, volunteers agree to receive information from the Hub directly concerning volunteering with any of the four organisations of the Hub. Registered volunteers will be able to ‘opt out’ of receiving certain messages and customise their received emails via the Hub website.
